Manasseh
Association Church Building Program
The
Manasseh Point Association church building program
consists of building churches, leasing and installing
pastor in any area worldwide where there is a
certificate of need.
We have a mandate and
God given budget to build, and or purchase churches
and lease them to qualifying members of the body of
Christ and to further install pastors.
At the outset, this program is geared for the
pastors in home mission or storefront ventures that
have a desire to venture into a more structured
facility. But
who may be experiencing financial difficulties and who
may or may not qualify for traditional loans
or assistance.
Some will say in a nation of
almost 300 million people and 231,000 churches, why do
we need more churches? First of all, the churches we build will be by
certificate of need.
Other words, if the community needs a church
and enough people are interested, we will certainly
consider building the church in that community.
And many churches will be built in rural areas
and third world countries.
In the United States, we may be inundated with
churches, but in many parts of the globe, this is
simply not the case.
The churches we plan to
build are geared for low and moderate-income religious
groups (followers of Christ).
These churches will be quite affordable and
moderately built with sufficient amenities.
Initial seating capacity will be around 500. The average small religious group is less than 500 members.
Presently, many in the body of Christ are
leasing and renting space in a variety of facilities. Which includes shopping centers, storefronts, home missions,
clubhouses, schools and neighborhood ventures.
Not everyone can afford a 20,000-seat assembly.
Whereas our
church building plan might not appeal to the pastor
who has a vision for a 5,000 seat assembly, it will be
of interest to the home mission pastor who has a hand
full of members.
And the storefront pastor who is already
experiencing overload with many seats in the isles and
people standing around the walls, and the building
fund vision is moving at a snails pace.
Our programmed data for church building comes
replete with all of the amenities to conduct services.
Churches will be outfitted with the following
list (brief) (a) air condition (b) offices (c)
baptismal facilities (d) pulpit arrangements (e)
padded pews (f) classrooms (g) parking (h) ample
restrooms (i) lobby area (j) wired for electronics (k)
church bus/van etc.
Also, as an added blessing,
God has given us the vision to build some low and
moderate-income houses and apartments and homeless
shelters.

Meeting
Qualifications:
Qualifications for the program will consist of a
business and financial approach.
(a) complete application (b) church financial
records (c) tax exempt status (d) membership records
(e) business status (f) qualification of pastor (g)
corporate structure (h) ability to meet current
obligations (i) willing to sign long term contract (j)
meet income check.
Income
Check: For
example, a small church with an income of $50,000
annually or $4,166.00 per month, who qualified could
secure a lease for about 30% of the monthly gross
which represents ($ 1,249.99).
These figures are only an example.
Income eligibility would be determined
annually. And
it would work both ways.
If the churches income increased or decreased,
the amount would do likewise.
The church is supported by free will tithes and
offerings and thereby its financial picture can be
“fluid.”
It’s not possible to
present all of the qualifying requirements in this
brief proposal, but for further information, you can
send an email to the address listed on our web site. This program of church building is not a panacea
nor will it take the place of pastors and churches in
search of financial capital or building fund
resources.
But it is our goal to help the struggling small
church and pastor to secure a more structure place to
have worship services.
We feel that the people of God will be blessed
by this venture and once fully understood, it is no
different than leasing an apartment, office building
or residence.
Installing
Pastors
A
great percentage of the churches we build will be
allocated for pastors in our own organization.
But this venture is not mutual exclusive of the
other. They
both will
work in concert with each other.
Our
pastor’s position is secured by written contractual
agreement with respect to installation procedures,
salaries, benefits and general working conditions. They are part of a team of pastors. They participate in the International speakers program and
are sufficiently compensated notwithstanding the size
of their congregation.
Our pastors are over both small and large
congregations.
We have a variety of pastoral positions (a)
Senior Pastor (administrative) (b) network pastors (adm)
(c) sanctuary pastors and (d) auxiliary pastors.
Sanctuary
pastors:
They sanctuary pastors are keepers of God’s
flock and report administratively to the senior
pastor. The
following is part of the installation procedure (Agreement
# 2) “ Pastor (s)
installed in Manasseh Point Association and churches
shall have authority to function as any normal pastor
would. This
is God given authority.
Sot that the pastor is able to give
himself/herself to “caring for the sheep,” we have
delegated the administrative functions to
administrative pastor and business administrators.
Pastors at Manasseh are apart of a network of
pastors (both sanctuary and administrative) and
members of family evangelism.
And to this extent, the pastor is placed on
salary, receives merits, benefits, and vacation
retreats and given a five-year contract which is
mutually renewable. “
Agreement # 3
“The
pastor is God’s representative and agent on earth
and holds the same position and authority in the
church. Accordingly,
the senior pastor shall not interfere intentionally or
unintentionally with the day-today affairs of the
churches except as counselor, advisor, administrator
or when deemed necessary for the well being of the
congregation. Once
the pastor is installed and understands fully the
goals and objectives of the association (as outlined
in (Manasseh Constitution), and is willing to abide by
these rules and regulations that govern this
association, he/she shall have full authority to
execute the office of pastor.”

Various Types Of Churches
Our
building program and charter supports the development
of a variety of churches, affordable housing and
humanitarian services.
About 65% of the churches we build will have a
limited seating capacity of only 500 will be offered
to the general Christian population.
And about 3% will be offered to those who are
members of our organization and association.
Other building program
support dome center convention type churches
comprising 100,000 seats.
This vision represents an internal
organizational plan and is not offered to the general
Christian population.
But will be employed for large evangelistic
gatherings, meetings, conferences, meetings,
conventions, leasing and other services.
Purchasing Churches:
Our charter and program data also supports
purchasing existing churches that are for sale.
Or buying certain property (in legal zones) and
converting it into places of worship.
In a time of “economic downturn,” we
envision that some of God’s people could be affected
by this move and we have been given the divine mandate
to protect and preserve God’s property.
Mortgage Assumptions:
Another financial purchasing and preservation
program is mortgage assumption.
This program permits us to actually assume a
mortgage that is headed for foreclosure.
We would be in a position to reach and
agreement with the mortgage holder and the current
property owners.
And of course, all things being equal, the
current owners would have to option of retaining the
property and we would become the mortgage holder.
This way God’s property is preserved and
God’s people can continue have a decent place to
worship.
Business dealings of this
magnitude require large sums of capital – which we
are expecting God to provide. After all, this is His vision; these are His people; He owns
the silver and gold and the whole world belongs to
Him. God will protect His own.
Only God knows the future
and the things coming up on the world and the church.
And has given us a divine directed over 25
years ago to prepare a Noah’s ark to preserve His
people and property.
With the great apostasy just around the corner
and the economic downturn us, God’s vision for His
church is right for us now.
Noah worked on building an
ark on dry land for over 120 years.
Disbelieved by the general population but
encouraged by God, he continued in the face of
adversity, long delays, misunderstandings, doubts and
strange looks from his family.
The general population ridiculed him until the
first drop of rain fell.
The ark was completed and God shut the door.
Noah and his family could not get out and those
on the outside could not get in.
Noah’s ark was a type of church – even
today.
