Summary
Manasseh Point Resort Center has been on the divine
drawing board for over two decades.
Our first schematic drawing combined with black
and white graphic rolled of the drawing board in 1987.
Finally, before we make a presentation to the
architect, God has blessed us to update with color
graphics. With
the 1987 edition and the updated one... we feel it
represents just about what is our mindset for this
project. We
have look at the patterns of many resort centers and
thus far the only one that stands out - has stood the
test of time and impressed us was - The Hotel Del
Coronado in San Diego, California.
The name Manasseh was derived from Genesis 41:51 which
denotes "forgotten trouble.
We have adopted it for our evangelistic
association, churches and resort center.
This is an innovative approach to vacationing,
retreats, leisure time, recreational activities, and
convention retreats.
 As
a retreat resort, Manasseh is purposed to accommodate
membership, partners, golden lifetime investors,
subscribers, employees, and others who share its
concept and will adhere to its charter. In its uniqueness, Manasseh resort is striving
to furnish and create an atmosphere from
unwholesomeness so that the family can enjoy
clean salubrious recreation and fun. Manasseh is a family resort known as a tee totaling
organization.
The management and staff of Manasseh Resort will always
strive for excellency both in creating and maintaining
an atmosphere where families can enjoy
the benefits of a well-earned vacation.
An atmosphere that lends itself to morality and
decency in the Christian concept.
We believe that an atmosphere of this nature -
especially one where children are ever present
containing camping activity,
fun villages, boating, picnics is absolutely
necessary for their growth and development into
healthy and moral human beings.
The total concept of Manasseh Resort comprises three
main divisions or sections (a) Business (b) Recreation
and (c) Evangelism or Service Center.
This provides something for the whole man.
Manasseh is a Christian development subscribing
to and adhering to the Christian principles of
morality and decency.
Non-Christians are welcome as long as they
agree to abide by the rules and regulations while
occupying the premises.
Also, Manasseh Resort is a membership
organization operating on a system of prepaid vacation
membership plans.
Business Section
The business section will consist of about eighteen (18)
buildings and is the crux of the entire operation.
Thus, this becomes headquarters and the nerve
center where all of the major decision is made. Manasseh will operate with centers through-out the
continental United States with major offices in
Europe, Canada, Latin America, the Caribbean and other
parts of the world.
We must explain at the outset that Manasseh isn't just
another theme park or "copy cat " resort
facility. It
is a God given vision that has materialized slowly
over 25 years - and especially in the last
fifteen years. This is God's plan to both bring His people together
and bless them with employment, recreation, convention
and worship services, and combined their resources to
make this possible.
Dome Convention Center
Located in each section will be the dome convention
center. They
will be patterned somewhat after the two centers in
Atlanta and Houston.
And have all of the amenities of convention
business. And
besides regularly evangelism services, will be
available for renting and leasing.
Occupying about 100,000 seats, (with 50,000 seats in the
main auditorium) and using balconies to assist with
seating arrangements.
Also two (2) 25 - 1,000 seat auditoriums will
line each side of the main auditorium, which will have
the ability to accommodate multiple smaller services. This is truly a partner in global evangelism venture
giving glory to the God of glory and demonstrating
that His people can come together in oneness.
Also each section will contain a lodging and dinning
branch called Manasseh Villa Lodging.
These facilities will have a combination of
both hotel and condominium features.
And will be designed for short and long-term
stays - from weekends up to 30 days.
Recreation Section
Recreation is a great part of resort services.
Our plans include a major recreation center
with a multiple services.
Some of the features entail (a) physical
fitness (b) tennis, basketball and volleyball (c)
handball and ping pong (d) various other ball courts
(e) exercise rooms (f) major bowling facility ( 24
lanes) (g) parks & grounds (h) arts & craft
center (i) cook-out facilities
(j) concession stands (K) shuttle bus services
(l) equestrian center (m) Manasseh village (for the
kids) (n)
mini amusement rides and (o) a 18 hole golf course. Also, lake Aenon (refreshing waters) will provide
boating and fishing along with the Lake seafood
restaurant.
Manasseh Lodging & Dining
With the look and features of a combined condominium and
hotel, Manasseh Lodging will accommodate both short
and long term accommodations. Two-three bedroom suites
with other special accommodations will be all but
standard. It
isn't possible to include all of the amenities we have
planned for this venture.
But from this, one can caught a bird's eye view
of the program.
The Evangelism Center
The evangelism center (or service center) will add
elegance, grace and style to the total project. Providing nightly evangelistic services, a traveler
from Europe, Canada or other countries might have come
simply to take advantage of the resort facilities ...
but God was looking out for their
"soul's" interest when they
"accidentally" visited the services and
received Christ as their personal Savior.
Truly all things work together for good.
One young lady traveled from New York to Los Angeles to
visit her friend so that they could "party"
together. When
her friend suggested they make a quick stop by the
church to catch part of the revival - a funny thing
happened as she was on her way to the "disco, “
She met Jesus! And never looked back.
